Fees & Charges (from engagement letter)
Unless otherwise expressly agreed with you in writing, our processional fees are charged at hourly rates, using six minute increments. Those rates per hour excluding GST range between $110 for bookkeeper to $350 for Partners. These rates may vary from time to time.
Our invoice may also include disbursements paid by us. These may include fees paid to third parties such as couriers, registration fees, stamp duty or fees for other professionals.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, any estimates which we provide to you of our anticipated fees, disbursements and charges for any work are only indicative of the amounts you can expect to be charged. Estimates are not quotes or caps and are not binding on us.
If Highview is engaged to prepare your corporate secretarial services, this will be charged as a flat fixed rate per annum.
Where an estimate is given and the scope of the work charges, or if it becomes apparent that the work involves matters which were not taken into account in the estimate, we will endeavour to advise you and provide an amended estimate as soon as it is practicable to do so.
Any additional fee for an additional service not covered in the scope of this engagement will be the subject of a separate engagement letter under separate fee arrangements.
Unless other payment terms are agreed, each invoice is payable within 14 days of receipt. If you default in paying any invoice in accordance with the terms set out in this letter, you agree to be liable to pay any loss, damage, claim, cost or expense (including legal costs on a solicitor-client basis) that arises as a result of your default.
Each client in the Group is jointly and severally liable to pay our fees in respect of all work performed for all members of the group. It is our requirement that the owners/directors of the business personally guarantee the payment of all accounts for professional fees, including out-of-pocket expenses rendered by us from time to time.
