From humble beginnings
Highview’s story began with a simple idea: to offer real, down-to-earth financial support to local families and small businesses. In the late 1990s, Heather Crowther and Silvio Marinelli were working side by side in a modest Cranbourne office, building strong client relationships and quietly shaping a new kind of accounting service — one based on trust, clarity, and care.
In 2001, they took a leap and co-founded their own firm. When it came time to name the business, Heather found inspiration in an unexpected place — her Melway street directory. Flipping to her favourite letter, ‘H’, she landed on Highview Street. From that light-hearted moment, Highview Accounting Services was born.
As client needs evolved, so did Highview. Financial planning and finance services were added, and new offices opened — Prahran in 2011 and Mornington in 2014.
In 2016, the firm refreshed its brand to Highview Accounting & Financial, and the Cranbourne office relocated to Codrington Street to support continued growth.
Recent years brought bold steps forward. In 2024, Highview launched its Digital Intelligence service and opened a new office in Wonthaggi. In 2025, the firm expanded interstate to the Gold Coast and opened a new bayside location in Frankston — bringing the total to seven offices.
From a small, trusted team to a thriving firm, Highview has never lost sight of its values. We’re proud of where we came from — and even prouder of where we’re headed.
